The Art Lab is a space were our young students have the freedom to explore, play and be curious through transdisciplinary activities based on diverse artistic methodologies and practices. Pilar Ricke, the art teacher, has created this exclusive space that inspires, empowers and challenges students to be active agents in their learning process. Weekly, each student from Kindergarden has the opportunity to be creators without limits where the teacher is only a guide who provides an idea and the materials. During this Art Lab time, students are encouraged to learn by doing and not to feel afraid of someone judging their work. This new space is built around the idea that children are born with amazing abilities and potential which have to be constantly fostered and challenged.
